1. Just read an article in an Irish Belfast Newspaper and it raised a few possible maybes. . . .

Ok. . The Point Depot in Dublin has been knocked down and Is being refurbed and turned into a 13,000 seater music venue (the first of it's kind in Europe to be built as a specific music venue). Interestingly, the venue is to be promoted and named as 'The O2' (ala London) as part of a joint venture between O2 and the Live Nation concert promotion company who have just recently signed U2 to their portfolio. The new Point Depot is due to finish this coming December so is it possible that we may say U2 opening the new venue or maybe even playing the venue next year, 20 years after the infamous 1989 gigs?

2 things are for certain. . . I hope the hell that this is true and. . . .i'll be there if it is

Another 12-31 gig in December 2009 perhaps..? Dream out loud.., Bono said at the last gig there. Oh man if it is true, I wanna be there too. Hard to get tickets for a 13,000 crowd show though.

very true but i'd pay over the odds. Maybe those previous 'U2 O2 Residency' rumors were indeed true but will happen in Dublin rather than London as previously ecpected

well it will be the largest indoor music venue in the whole of Ireland so theres gonna be some plausability here. It is a real real possibility I reckon
  8. That'd be fucking awesome. I think I'd go if they play Depot again
  9. It would be my dream come true....I'll directly reserve a ticket to go over there...
  10. Seems everyone would want to go there...I'm afraid we need 20 Point Depot gigs..

Prince played 21 in London. . . I could see a U2 residency in Dublin. Live Nation and O2 will release a list of artists expected to perform within the next week or 2
  12. It's also the best venue to stop their career....Hope that won't happen!
