    Oh god, shame on me...

I don't mind him, no way near as bad. Does grate with me sometimes though, have to say...the HoF rendition of ISHFWILF isn't my favourite, must be said - I like the idea of it (hence why I wish the Philly show where he appears on the encore was more than 2-stars and not just RS links!), i.e. with him coming on stage to perform, rounding off a decent night with some great performances BUT he arses up the singing in my opinion lol. Great man though, all the same.

Let's say he's a bit more forthright in his criticism of his singing than I am lol.

Same here, I've no idea how many times I've brought up U2 during driving lessons lol - I always seem to manage it! He's pretty good though, he likes U2 but he's not quite the fan we are

His way of singing doesn't fit with U2. He's great though, but not the best..

For sure, that was kinda the message that I wanted to convey, just through the use of 5 times as many words

  8. Fuck, I missed the Bob Dylan discussion...

I know his voice is not the greatest up there, and might be even annoying sometimes, but his lyrics, the heart-felt songs and the political compromise... He's a myth of the music, and so he deserves to be treated like

PS. Not everybody can say he was on the same stage than Martin Luther King when he said that "I Have A Dream..." speech... Bob Dylan CAN

Oh don't get me wrong, lyrically and spiritually I think he's great! I just wish he wouldn't sing
  12. ...when you're on the highway during a heavy rainstorm and you listen to "New Year's Day" from Slane very loud, and you get so lost in that song and see Bono out there on the stage in the wind and rain... and you miss your exit... and the next 3 as well...
