You weren't watching that Bono interview with Andrew Denton, by any chance about 'celebrity is currency'?

I honestly don't think there was a bad tour at all. Each tour has its share of mistakes and problems and song choices, but what are you gonna do. I think a Passengers Tour would have been awesome - maybe like Conspiracy of Hope - with a few good shows, playing some songs from it like United Colours, Let's Go Native, Miss Sarajevo...and other songs like One, Streets and other Boy - Zooropa songs.

Yes I did and it's true. Who's got a better chance of meeting with our Prime Minister. You or Bono?

If it was Howard, not me. If Rudd, maybe. I thought the funniest thing, and there is a quote from the newspaper just after one of the Sydney shows, which John Howard says "Bono? Which football player is he from? Will he be playing at Telstra Dome on Saturday?" So naturally, Howard didn't want to meet with him for unknown reasons, so he met with Peter Costello instead. We won't go into it because it could start a bit of a political debate, but that was pretty much the whole thing about it.

Here's an article from the Brisbane show for you:

Again, for those who don't know, this is the man Bono could have met with:

    Instead meeting with this man:

If Bono had waited another year, perhaps it could have been this man...

....or could have had a real fright seeing this man....

...but if Bono had been truly unlucky, he could have met this guy...

    Take your pick.

  6. I am not sure what makes a 'least favorite Tour' Vertigo had a good range of songs played, Elevation was generally indoor venues, ZooTv & POP experimental. All tours tend to suffer from repetative set lists especially ZooTV onwards as they tie in with visuals.
