Not quite sure what we're being here actually...some people here, many of them from the reformists and open-minded people are saying that the missiles testing was a good thing...they say that we HAD to do something in response to the threats done by the US and Israel...if Israel shows off it's missiles, we have to do the same.

I don't know what to think, but I too didn't like the way the US and Israel acted, I mean, the US together with EU and others give us this new package of incentives and stuff, and we are taking it good and accepting most of it, then in the mean time, while the government here was reviewing the package, the US starts threatening Iran and Israel starts military tests, etc... .not a good show of faith really, it's actually like :"accept it or I'll shoot you" (an offer you can't refuse, the godfather ), I understand why they're doing this, but it's disrespectful to every Iranian here, even the reformists...that's why many of them support what the military did.

Thats how the U.S. works. When the Somalis, had our piolet Mike Durant, back in 93, we basicly said, if they didn't give him back we'ed level Mogadishu. Its evolved from Teddy Rossevelt's gunboat diplomacy.

yea, but that doesn't make it right...and that's exactly the policy that's making people hate the US government...
  9. I just don't understand why the US is even involved in defending Israel... can someone explain?

I could start a long political explanation, but I'll keep it short: Power and Influence.

    My thoughts....

The US stay out of Israeli affairs.... its not a province of the US! If we should help anywhere, why not help out with struggling countries in the caribbean? Like Haiti?

That sums up what I was trying to say in a few short succinct words. I was gonna go back as far as the fallout of World War 2 in an attempt to explain, but I'm not 100% sure myself so I figured it was wiser to let someone else call the shots lol.
