The US stay out of Israeli affairs.... its not a province of the US! If we should help anywhere, why not help out with struggling countries in the caribbean? Like Haiti?

You tried to "help" Haiti 3 times - and failed.
The country is fucked anyway - it's probably the best example how the west ruined a rich and beautiful country.
  2. The creation of Isreal in 1947 was the idea of the UN after WW2, not the brightest I must say, put millions of Jews in the gateway of the middle east. It was partly americas idea, possibly wanting to have some power and influence in that area.
  3. It's basically Iran and the US playing chess...our government controls Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas from the Palestinians, the US works with Israel...sooo...

The west has hurt us before...that's what caused the revolution and that revolution went wrong after a few years...leading us here.

The likelihood is that the superpowers of the world, i.e. Russia, US etc. (I would put the UK but something says we're not the superpower people think we are) are on either side of the equation. I don't mean as in it's Cold War 2, although that's entirely possible - I just think when you have power at stake, those with the power to wield it do their damndest to obtain it, and if that means manipulating others, that's how it's gonna be.

A depressing thought, eh? I mean, I was watching the Bourne Ultimatum recently and, just on that scale, there's an example of organisations (CIA, NSA etc.) who don't see the individual unique value in each human being - everything's an 'asset' or some such thing, and they have no qualm in killing such people off. We're just applying that on a larger scale, I reckon.

I'm not religious, but if any lyrics make me sit up and think, it's these...
  9. If Russia was involved, I doubt it would go towards a second cold war. Russia has no reason to support either side in this, for security, politcal or for fuels. Iran do seem a bit outnumbered in this, and the episode will probley just fizzel out with the UN allowed to enter the country or something, like North Korea.

One would like to think so, and indeed hope so. I mean, problem is, we're not aware of what's genuinely going on, we on the [relative] outside anyway.

Let hope it stays that way, we should be worry about Iran or Iraq for that matter, as memebers of the UN we should looking to get involved in matters such as Zimbabwe and developing nations in need, not starting petty wars.

I wish it were that way - everyone should be looking after each other, not for each other in case they jump us from behind. It would just be so much more mutually beneficial for everyone, but it's not gonna happen in a hurry...
