All good points - I'm not bothered about how long there is between choosing a show etc., it's about the reviewing rather than who's chosen it. Sure, you may have someone choose a show they know and love, but it's for the others to review aswell
Originally posted by germcevoyI have been thinking of the picking situation. It can't be helped if the round table outgrows itself leaving longer times in between choosing. Although I will say that those inactive members should not be allowed to choose a show if they haven't reviewed in months. Instead of changing the review order just now though we will just take eash week as it comes and if whoevers choice it is hasn't been contributing we will then move on to the next member. Only fair
Originally posted by germcevoyand to add. . .the purpose of the round table is not to pick a show, it is simply to review a show and discuss it and to experience bootlegs that you would not have listened to had it not been for the BRT. I actually think the Round Table is better wen the choice is somebody elses

Anyway, I gave the show a first listen, second listen is tonight, and I like aud's more than IEMs and SBDs.
As for the dwindling time for my choice (3 weeks, I think), it's now down to Zoo TV, PopMart, or an Elevation show. 2 have been with me for a while, while 1 is something new to me. There was a forth, which got disqualified because 40 cuts off (:( ).
That show was a Joshua Tree show. The 4th is out (Nate already knows which show), the 4th and booted contender was 1987-11-22 Austin. I thought it was a great show until 40 cut off, and I was kinda sad that it did. Other than that, I can promise 1 of my choices is innovative for BRT, as we have not heard that kind of show yet (we all know the tour, but the setlist is very very different for that tour).
