No, I want you! So you wanna be a rock 'n' roll star? Just get yourself an electric guitar, in a week or two you can learn how to play.. wedding march

That solves the wedding and the wedding night music

I think If You Wear That Velvet Dress, especially the Jools Holland version, is quite proper for a wedding night

And to stay ontopic, I'm wondering if there's a chance for Rick Rubin to get back, or any other new producer. I think it's good to have at least one person with a different look than U2. Though I believe U2 are difficult to work with because they approach things on a other way than usual bands. They just sit and play and wait for a miracle song to pop out.

I don't know... I think Rubin is just perfect if you're aiming into a commercial blockbuster, but Eno-Lanois are ideal for legendary U2 albums. The records which made U2 the Rock's Hottest Ticket have them as producers. I'd rather see them because in the last 3 albums there has been a new producer. Wanna know how Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois cope with the new U2.

i love it. thanks to whoever discovered that quote for the U2start database (Remy?). for the 1990s trilogy of albums, i agree.

Oh my god!! Such a nice poet!!
  6. The pic where everyone is pointed out, it indeed is Brian Eno.
  7. Great pic..it's good that they work on the new album from morning till nightfall
  8. Play yourself Fast Cars looking at the boys in the studio...........that's a good Eastern sounding tune....
  9. Let's hope u2.com post more.
  10. It's alright
    It's alright
    It's alriiiight
    U2 moves in Mysterious Ways...

  11. Obviously Danny and Brian produced U2's three finest works and plenty of others in between, but if the band is truly searching for a new direction they may want to look elsewhere for production. Rick Rubin has done exceptional things with RHCP and Johnny Cash, and I think Window in the Skies is excellent, if that's indicitave of things to come.
  12. lanois and eno always did a good job working with u2... but i wonder if they can lead them into new stuff....

i'm not quite sure if window in the skies is pointing the direction they're going to follow for the new album...

we'll just have to wait and see, i guess!
