1. It will be the U.S. They like to rehearse here. They will not start in Europe, that is a guarantee. They need to play there in the summer to utilize the stadiums. They also like to get a leg under their belt before they hit Europe. They like to be firing on all cylinders and sufficiently warmed up when they are playing home. Edge and Bono have both commented on that in the past.

Australia would have been a possibility. But by U2 standards, they just played there. So it will be N. America again.

I'm not sure why they want to start in Vegas though. Bono had a lot of trouble rehearsing there on Popmart. The dry desert air wreaked havoc on his vocals. I guess the difference is they will rehearse inside this time. Still, I would have guessed somewhere like Florida or Southern California as the opener.

Agree. Florida seems plausible to me. Something like Fort Lauderdale or Miami (isn't new album about horizon and sea stuff? Miami'd be perfect with that theme).
  3. Agree with most of the above, surely they would start on one end of america and work their way across, West to East, or the other way round. All depends on what type of tour it is though. If its arenas and not stadiums, they won't have to wait for summer.

If so, I'll travel to Boxtel the week before, just to get a good spot.
