1. Hi, some may know from a previous post that I have just seen Muse live and completly understand why they have been given the title best live act on numerous occassions. The gig was, as jrlewis put it 'insane'. Sadly I wasn't standing but had a great view of everyone going mad and the band themselves. (Oh yeh, there were quite a few people there with u2 t-shirts on)

So.... other than u2 who do you consider a great live act? Here are mine in no order:

    Muse
    Oasis
    Foo Fighters
    Ash
    The Twang

I'm also curious what everyone thinks of My Chemical Romance. I noticed there were a few missiles being thrown at them when they were supporting Muse. They have got some good songs, a lot of energy live but I wouldn't say they are great live, you couldnt really pick out some of the words the lead singer was singing, Im sure he forgot some. My friend went to Reading festival last year and he said they got bottled, don't understand why though. (Perhaps I've just answered my own question here with the lyric thing)
  2. Some of the greatest live acts in no particular order:

    Pink Floyd
    Springsteen
    Manic Street Preachers
    Radiohead

  3. I would love to see radiohead
  4. Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters, Oasis
  5. 1. Oasis
    2. Sprigsteen
    3. Bon Jovi

Guns N Roses were brilliant too in their day until Axl turned into a shithead.

Oh Yeah - Christy Moore is outstanding live too.

  6. Dont forget Bryan Adams, AC/DC,INXS(with michael hutchence),REM

I'm all for those four - Bon Scott was awesome, but even INXS now with J.D Fortune isn't too bad - however you cannot beat Hutchence. REM are not too bad. In all honesty, mine include:

    Rolling Stones
    Aerosmith
    Bon Jovi
    James Brown
    Green Day
    Meat Loaf
Michael Jackson (but he always has backup singers!)
    Pearl Jam
  8. The Red Hot Chili Peppers
And I heard that the Kaiser Chiefs are good live performers too...
  9. ocean colour scene when they do there accoustic gigs.

  10. I actually thought Jon Stevens (from a band called Noiseworks) was pretty cool.
