1. ZooTV Mexico City, Mexico
    25 November 1992

    converted from DVD to avi (xvid/mp3) 640x480 -- 827 MB, 86 minutes

NOTE: Filmed from in the stands on the right side (Adam's side) of the stadium at an approximately 30 degree angle from the stage. The footage cuts in after the first few words of "One". For the first 90 seconds the video is pretty wild, with the taper seemingly having problems finding the stage. During the first three songs, the footage is almost exclusively wide angle. The taper is far enough removed from the stage that it is difficult to make out individual band members. During "New Year's Day" the taper apparently realizes that zooming in results in a much better picture. Better, but far from perfect. Even the closeups are not very sharp, the video is shaky, obstructed views and black screens are present but the concert is good, the setlist is odd and the crowd is amazing.

Bono puts on a big sombrero during "Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around the World" after opening the champagne bottle and again during "Desire". The band plays "I Will Follow", "When Love Comes To Town", and a very rough version of "We Will Rock You" from the b-stage. Bono and The Edge then sing "Satellite of Love" from the b-stage. The acoustic portion of the show ends with Bono singing "All I Want Is You" from the b-stage by himself.

It wouldn't be a proper post from Yeah without a sarcastic jab!

  4. Great concert this is A friend of mine was there, and after attending 5 more Zoo shows (two Dublin nights, Madrid, Barcelona and Milan) he still said that Mexico was the best one.
  5. All files are up now.
  6. Thanks for this!!!
  7. Call me a bad U2 fan, but I just cannot stand to watch the audience shot ones. Nothing against "yeah" for uploading this concert, it's great, i watched some of it, but I can't sit down and watch this on my TV. It's just too hard on the ears and the eyes. (usually) I prefer the pro-shot ones only. That's probably why my bootleg video collection is a lot smaller than most of the other guys on this forum.

I used to be the same way, but there's only so many pro-shots to collect. Give it time, you'll come to the dark side!

you just need to see a good audience shot and youl never look back. Lots are horrid but so many are so good. Try the Frankfurt gig i uploaded for eg. Thats a cracker. Cheers for this one yeah

Depends on the tour. Prior to Zoo TV, there's no really good audience shot. Zoo TV has a few but most suffer from high gen tape transfers. With Popmart it gets a little better and most of the Elevation and Vertigo shots from North America are just great.
It's a shame that it isn't the other way round.

amen to that on both counts. I just cant watch a Vertigo gig frnm start to finish. Those older tours high gen tapes are unfortunate (boston 92) but hopefully the masters and 1st gens are out there and just need to fall into the right hands.
