Originally posted by haytrainWell everyone....Eight and a half weeks later, I'm walking out of the hospital tomorrow. Granted, I'll be using 2 canes to help steady myself, but considering I was paralyzed from the waist down the day of the injury, I can't complain. I said from the beginning "If I have to walk with canes or a walker for the rest of my life, I'll do it. I just want to walk again."
Well....I'm there.![]()
Thanks again for all the support....

Thank you all so much for supporting me through this weird journey that I've been on the past two months. I'll never forget it.
As some of you know, I was discharged from the hospital yesterday and am now dealing with the brand new challenge of trying to fit back into a "normal" life. I'll still be getting some therapy, but a majority of the strength-building and conditioning that I do will come from doing the everyday tasks. Wish me luck!
Here's a video I put together of me walking out of the rehab hospital yesterday. Quite an emotional experience.....
