1. I HOPE THIS NEXT TOUR U2 PLAY STADIUMS IN THE STATES
  2. So do I, but I doubt it, and I've warmed up to arena shows recently. If they can pull of a Vertigo Leg III again, I'll be more than satisfied. Unless they at least generate one top ten US hit (possible... I'd say likely, with downloads factored in), there's no chance in hell.

Unfortunately, in general, we in the States listen to crappy music. If it can be called music. *shrugs*

I agree with you 100%. I think with the popularity of U2 now opposed to during the PopMart Tour is much higher and I'm about certain they can sellout stadiums..especially if they are playing 2 to 3 shows in one venue during the same tour...via Vertigo and Elevation Tours

I agree with you in some sense the sounding is more condensed and it's a little more intimate but U2 are due for a large tour production

perhaps another Zoo TV esque tour? Indoor shows then bring it on outside? For the past two tours theyve played the Garden, they havent played in Foxboro since PopMart, but I dont mind. They should play Fenway Park in Boston (a baseball stadium), to combine my love of two things: U2 and the Red Sox
  7. It would be nice if they could bring the show both indoors and outdoors in the same leg, like TJT Tour, but if they go for stadiums, they'll want to go all-the-way (Zoo/PopMart/Vertigo-type production), and I don't blame them. And it would be difficult to carry two different sets around 'merica.

The problem is that the North 'merican market varies greatly place to place... sure, they'd sell out stadiums in NYC, Boston, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Seattle, and probably Houston... but would they sell out a stadium in Syracuse, NY or Hamilton, ON?

They did play Yankee Stadium in 92 so it is a possibility that they could play Fenway. Doesn't it seat 34,000+ though? it would be like playing the Garden which I went to last tour first night there in May 05...one of the coldest days I ever experienced in the month of May

I hear you on that. They would have to be more selective on where to play outside here
  10. I personally would like to see something like Zoo TV... arenas during the first leg, where they visit the major cities and play once or twice, and one show in all of the smaller markets (probably Austin). Then come back like crazy for the third leg, fresh out of stadiums in Europe, to the bigger markets in the U.S. (the aforementioned cities, plus some [hopefully Austin!!!], and often multiple shows in each), all in stadiums.

Yes I like that system too!!
  12. I would love to see them in a stadium, in U2 By U2, Edge said the 3rd leg of Vertigo was supposed to be a stadium leg, but due to the canceled first leg shows it was indoor, to somewhat of a regret apparently. I think the band might still be a little stung from Popmart since the stadiums were hardly full. Could they sell out stadiums every night in the US? I hope so. Arenas? without question. I think arenas are better in general, but like I said, I'd love to see them in a stadium, preferably a European one
