If and when that happens you'll have to post your experience there.
  2. Ever think about going on those U2 tours in Dublin? That would be insane for me

I was at that show too. Phenominal show!!! Cold as hell outside though!

Oh my gosh, I remember the cold! I remember buying my Vertigo Tour t-shirt and program while Institute was opening and putting my t-shirt on over my other shirt for warmth (not that it did much good). I can still remember the energy during the show...amazing!

And YOU--21 shows?? How are you stiil alive and functioning?? I think I'd have died of happiness already!
  4. My conclusion - anyone who's been to a U2 show is a lucky sod, and I hope to join that number soon...

If you manage that, us UK lot might get a chance to meet up with you

I can't wait until the new tour starts and all (most) of us get tickets and we come back and share the amazing stories!!!

And yes, I have faith that most of us WILL get tickets...

Fortunately I'm still alive! I wish I can do that again next tour. But I doubt it. Plus when you see them like 5 nights in a row you pretty much get the setlst and the gist of what's going on. So by the Fall leg of the tour I was pretty numb to the shows but of course there were great moments in each show that I will take to the grave with me.
  9. Hard to chose between the two slane shows . musically the first night was better with dancing in the moonlight and a sort of homecoming but the atmosphere at the second show ............ have goosebumps just thinking about it . The 500 pounds speech and of course the segue from all i want is you into streets (f**king hell i swear i have goosebumps thinking about it - savage show) . The dvd does not show the two hours in traffic trying to get out of slane but that half the fun !!!

Just one topic, like the U23D one..Probably the 'Sexy Boots Tour Topic: Share your stories'.

    Anyway...my favorite U2-concert will come somewhere in June/July 2009 I hope.
