ok im gonna rehear one album version in a few moments and will then post my thoughts

But Shine like Stars and Hear Us Coming make their respective songs. One has been crappy on the last two tours, but on Zoo TV and especially PopMart, it was amazing, IMO...

I must say I agree with you....I love the Hear Us Coming snippet....and Shine Like Stars is pretty cool too IMO....
The album versions are nice, but they get so much more power live with these snippets....

'live snippet'. Exactly. They only work live. I'd take the album version of both songs 9 times out of ten
  5. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    11 O'Clock
    Bad (obviously)

Feck it. There's too many to name. But Streets is WAY better live. I do love the album version, but I love the way they did it on the JT tour, I love the anticipation and the red screens and everything. Amazing.
  6. ok, One live @ Slane is WAY better than album version. IMO
  7. I'm still going to stand by my statement about Streets. And I agree with Gerard, those snippets only work live. They would've sounded horrible on the album.

I agree about the snippets, they still rule live tough...

Exactly. And that's why the key word is: Live.
