    Does Jamaica not have standard dope-testing? I thought the IAAF took care of all that sort of thing. Especially with the controversy that has surrounded the event in the last years (as you mentioned - Ben Johnson is 20 years ago, and the events never recovered. Till now. Hopefully).

    No, Jamiaca doesn't have an own test-program and isn't member of the carribean anti-doping agency/organisation either...
    That doesn't have to mean anything but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

    But then again, what sport on that level is free of doping nowadays?

    surely they are tested at the Olympics though?

    Of course. But he won't be that dumb to start freshly doped in the Olympics... unless they found something new that can't be found with today's tests. IF he used some forbidden stuff, he did it during his preperations.

    amazing talent and performance until proven otherwise. A shame we have to assume things other than talent with victories like this but thats the sport unfortunately.

    Yep, stunning performance, no doubt.

    I think some people will always try to cheat when money and fame are involved. And that casts a damning light on the whole sport...
