    I'm looking for the video of The Electric Co., from the Lyceum, London (Sept 7 1980). I read in U2 by U2 that Bono took a jump and his pants split wide open... haha, i wanna see that

  2. That gig wasn't filmed. The first known/circulating show dates from January 23rd, 1981.

    Hm, I'm torn if this is legit or not... the intro dates 1981, the outfit would fit in the Boy tour...
    and I'm too lazy to check with my DVDs

    The first video recording (regardless of the TV appereances) was on Belfast 1981-01-23, Yeah is right...

    Ok, but this was recorded live 4 months before the Belfast show, and is therefore the first live video recording other than tv appearances.

    Would be good if the rest of the show surfaced one day.

  11. I knew about this recording even before Internet existed.

    In my documental "A year of PoP" they made a general revision of U2's history, and this video appeared as one of their first performances. And I have it since 1997...

    I love it!
    All the 80's energy and even more, funny and weird stuff (pants off!)...
