1. Probably doing a search of the Tube, you might find it hidden in a news video - if it was ever uploaded.
  2. well if access to ALD is free... why are we only having a few of them? is it hard to record it?

  3. Some people think that recording from an ALD is classless and unethical, others say the result sucks, and some just want to keep them in tight circles.
These are the main reasons imho.
  4. Instead of 'tapping into' ALD, couldn't one just grab an ALD device, unplug the headphones, and plug in something to record it? You wouldn't need to screw around with discovering the frequency or being blocked or whatever then...

  5. You could also just buy the WITS single for Kite soundboard audio.

  6. And it's very, very, very good too - even if it is edited over two nights.

Yep, that's how it's done. You probably run a line out of the headphone jack into the line-in of your recorder.
  8. here's what he had to say guys...

"These clips are from a TV station. I guess the material is filmed by some U2 crew stuff and then spread to the TV stations to use some short scenes for news reports. Thats why there are only 2 or 3 songs available. It's probably the same as with the photographers who have to leave after 3 songs."

    bit of a shame really...
  9. well maybe he can upload the recorded material so that we can rip off the audio... audio from youtube isnt that good most of the time.
