1. True, but it hasn't really been around that long lol...wait until the awards ceremonies come around, and maybe it'll get some kinda recognition?

Argh, I disagree entirely lol. Love the guitarwork on AROBTTH but Viva La Vida just feels so much more complete and polished and, to me, better - but hey, that's my opinion ...
  2. What I like about Viva la Vida is that the songs develope, they're dynamic. And the riffs, they are amazing (it's called riff, innit? )

  3. I think Yeah means the news about U2 after HTDAAB. There were reports back then stating the band would quickly release a new album because there was so much material left. They didn't release anything...
  4. I think Viva is a lot like Achtung.....they've even referred to their first 3 albums as a trilogy, plus the tour is really similar to Zoo TV.

do i dare mention McPhisto's phone calls?

EDIT: not sure if it was a live show or not... oops!

The tour similar to Zoo TV????

  6. Well....before they do their encore, they play a remix of one of their hits (similar to PopMart with Lemon)

Plus I think I meant to say U2 in general, since U2 has really paved the way for live music (i.e. Coldplay, the Rolling Stones, etc.)

and yes, I did say the Rolling Stones (b-stage)

And one I entirely agree with

  8. I agree too...Death Will Never Conquer isn't as good as Stay....but both seem like they left off their proper albums, theme wise.
  9. A lot of the best coldplay songs are b-sides

If they didn't know better, anyone would think you had an axe to grund, a bone to pick or both at once lol...

BBC Radio Theatre gig to be broadcast live

Good morning. On Saturday, Coldplay will play a special concert for the BBC, which will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 2. The show will take place from 7-8pm, with build-up on both Radio 2 and Radio 6. Click here for full details and to listen live online, wherever you are. The BBC will also be showing video of the gig on the site afterwards.

The concert will take place in London's BBC Radio Theatre, a venue which was opened in 1932 and visited shortly afterwards by King George V and Queen Mary. "Their Majesties were greatly struck by the hall, which is among London's finest, with an audience capacity of 700," reported the Daily Telegraph at the time. It is not clear whether any royalty will be attending Saturday night's show.

  12. I dunno, guys, rumour has it that Coldplay uses DRUMS and GUITARS and even a BASS here and there... and, believe it or not, Chris Martin occasionally SINGS! That's something that the four members of U2 do! They're copying everything from U2!
