Is that the performance where Bono has to call Adam's name a few times to get his attention?

  2. It is...

That Vertigo from Gerard and the 40 posted by Yeah are quite painfull too. Good to see there just a bunch of humans too.

wait and maybe jeff will know this...if they played the song in Db instead of D, what guitar would edge have used. As far as i know his explorers are tuned in standard? Any guesses?

Well a) I'm pretty sure not all of his Explorers are in standard tuning but even so, b) WOWY was originally in D on the album, so it's not exactly beyond the realms of possibility to suspect that he was playing WOWY or whatever in the key of D. I wanna download this show 'cause I'm kinda lost how one can throw WOWY into Out Of Control lol...

  7. Heh, well, this is Bono we're talking about...he is known for his eccentricities, even if it does mean starting in completely the wrong key lol...how he managed it, who knows, considering he has an earpiece so he can hear the others clearly lol.
  8. Alright everybody listen up. You wanna hear a baddie? Try opening night of the JT tour - 04/02/1987. What a way to kick off a tour.

Holy crap is it bad and you'll know it when tries to say hello to the audience even before he hit's the first note. Trust me, I was there. It was when Bono first came down with what we would later come to know as "desert throat". They skipped the next night and played the following one. All lot of us were at both shows and made a point to really cheer him on the second night. You can hear it during "Bad".
  9. Sorry to bring up a super old thread like this but god damn this is terrible:

  10. The worst vocal performance to me is the Lovetown Amsterdam show. Listen to God Part II when Bono makes them do the end again in frustration and screams it out. It hurts my throat just listening to it!

The worst show is the Las Vegas 97 show. Clearly they were not ready to play or perform on all levels.
