To be honest I don't really care that much about they're political side. I support them, It's not like I don't respect what they're doing, but I really only want to read about the music when I read a U2 biography.

It went the same with their tours back then...Anyway, that's another discussion.

  2. aha...damn.

    wasn't TUF avant-garde?
  3. what are ya'll talking about? forgive me for being too lazy to search for it

  4. Different and alternative, yes. Avant garde, not in my book lol. I think I Will Follow was more avant garde what with the lobbing of the glass bottle...

THanks for posting the article though mate! Was awesome to read.

Lol, That is so something the father of ambient music would do.

Also, It's good that they ditched Rick Rubin, and went back to Eno/Lanois.

Just bought the Flanagan book (second-hand)... it's a good read right?

My favorite U2-book Read it two times, absolutely funny and insightfull. Got a lot of quotes from that book too.

Although not attributed directly to Edge, that does lend credence to some rumblings we've heard recently from multiple sources that the band isn't satisfied with several tracks and may push the album release to early 2009.

  10. Kinda expected that to happen, it's already September now, if they were releasing an album in November and a single in October they would've announced something by now.
  11. Well, I won't probably have to buy it myself and will get it as a B-day present.....
