hmmm controversial views for me.....so many songs over the past 25 years..but the following would not be in my top 30....one step closer,if god will send his angels,silver and gold,pride,grace..and with or without you or one would not make my top 30...........

It's not actually written for her, it's named after her date of birth. It's recorded by accident, Adam was playing some bass lines and Edge just jumped in, both unaware that Brian Eno was recording. Finally they named it after the date of birth of Edge's first daughter Holly.
