Without god knows who else, we wouldn't have U2; doesn't mean that they have to sound like them lol...U2, in my eyes, are best when they sound like U2 (that may sound vague, but I think you guys might catch my drift), not trying to take genuine templates from others. I Will Follow, Electric Co. etc. are not carbon copies of Yellow Submarine and A Hard Day's Night lol

    lol this is true. I would've gone farther with my explanation, but I'm just didn't want to lol. There's a big difference between influences and obvious influences (I know that sounds vague or redundant lol, but you know what I mean...). Bono has said at one point they wanted to be like The Who. Did Achtung Baby sound like Tommy? lol no, it didn't...

    I'm not too bothered about the Who, some of their stuff is good but it's not a brand of music I place much store with (or however the saying goes).

    anyway here's something I'll get shot for, but how about dropping All I Want is You? I felt like it was a bit stale on the last tour. Obviously not overplayed, but lacking something, whether it be the energy in Bono's voice, or something like that. Can't put my finger on the reason for this, but all I know is that I really only liked the Milan version on this tour.

    2nd Leg versions were brutal. The lengthy later tour versions though (Buenos Aires and Saitama) really were good

  12. try Buenos Aires (forget about Bono's voice) and Saitama 2. Proper length versions with all the bells and whistles
