1. For anyone who gets concert T.V. on demand, there playing a 1983 performance from Rockpalast this month. Bono is as energetic as any concert from the time. Larry, and Adam both seem at the top of there game(and do lots of singing), and Edge is spot on as always. Also, they have great Rockpalast performances by The Who, the late Stevie Ray Vaughn, as well as a best of Radioheads Laters with Jools Holland performances. Check it out.

It has some horrible issues during "The Quiet One" and some minor problemns throughout the rest of the set. Still though, it is good as far as there 80's shows go as far a performances go. At least they hadent reached the level of suck of "Its Hard" yet.

Its Hard didnt really suck as much as people think.....its just that the album and tour were shoved off bc "moon wasn't there". plus the 1982 sets were absolutely awesome, and they had perfercted Drowned with harmonica and piano by then.

and IMO the Who have never really sucked, ever

You gotta admit it is among there worst albums though. As it is Eminence Front is my favirote of the songs with Townshend on lead vocals, and single-handedly saves the album from getting used as a archery practice target.

I actually like Its Hard....one my fav albums. Personally I don't like their new album or the debut as much. To each their own though.

    Watching the U2 thing now

  7. Thanks. I've actually been looking for a site like that for awhile. Also the setlist for the U2 performance,

    1. Out Of Control
    2. Twilight
    3. An Cat Dubh
    4. Into The Heart
    5. Surrender
    6. Two Hearts Beat As One
    7. Seconds
    8. SBS
    9. The Cry/Electri Co/Send In The Clowns
    10. Gloria
    11. NYD
    12. I Will Follow
    13. 40

Its worth noteing how few guitars Edge used back then compared to nowadays.
