Its all about preference.

Then what do most people prefer as an album ? JT or AB
Originally posted by germcevoy:[..]
Most will say AB but many will say JT. Others will say Boy and others Pop. All for very different (but equally) valid reasons.

There's not a weak link on JT.....(except for Mothers, maybe)

Luminous Times and Walk To The Water are great songs but they just would not have fitted on the JT album. Spanish Eyes might have but all of the other Joshua Tree b-sides just would not have fitted on the album I don't think.
Love Comes Tumbling could mave made it onto UF though

Then again, October is a damn fine album to me. I like it a lot.

JT would have been a better record if they substituted some of the B-sides instead of the weaker songs.

Mate, herein lies the issue here. There are plenty of people who believe that there are no weak songs on the album - certainly none worthy of being bumped for any B-sides. As Gerard said before, it's about preference. There are no rights or wrongs here. The old adage - why mess with something if it ain't broke (or something like that)![]()
