1. Hopefully for you, no!
Ive got my eyes set on a flamin AC30 now....I CANT AFFORD ANY MORE IM A STUDENT AHHHHHHH

  2. Ha, I've been a student in waiting for the last couple of years, but now Uni.'s just around the corner, I'm gonna be in the same boat...depressing whilst simultaneously good lol. Amps are not quite a priority, ;cause my poxy little Yamaha isn't too shabby (sure, you put it up agaisnt a Marshall and you're stuffed, as I've found at various jams with friends over the years) but I don't often have it turned up over 2-3 'cause of the family, so I'm more focusing on the sounds I can get out of the amp rather than how big it is

Yeah i know what you mean, In a dreamland id go and get a new amp, but my Fender frontman does the job at the minute. when i get my degree and start earning (or rob a music shop) ill have one!
  4. Also, does anyone know what/or whats the best echo unit out there? (pedals wise) the Boss RE20 looks really cool!

  5. Boss DD-20 Giga Delay is very Edge-useful, for a stompbox.
  6. I use the DD-20 and it's great, as I've stated here before. It's awesome for Edge delay. It's got mod delay, and you can control it's rate and depth, and it has an LED screen so you can dial in exact delay times. Perfect.

A BOSS DD3 has also been bought this summer
    JEALOUSSSSS
  8. cheers, thanks guys
  9. Yea I started out with the DD-3. it's a great delay pedal to start out with. There's no mod delay, or reverse, or anything like that, but you can still almost nail Streets, Bad, Electric Co, and all those without fancy delays with it. It's great.
  10. DD3 is kind of an industry standard, a great basic delay. DD20 is the big workstation, supposed to do everything that everyone ever invented about delay. In the middle there's the DD7. Nice delay with many possibilities including 20 seconds of looping. You'll have to decide what you want your delay to do and how much you're gonna spend.

My own delay is the Danelectro PB&J mini pedal. I like the sound - more analog (which it isn't) than digital (which it is). Not very versatile except for the option to footswitch between a "short" slap echo and a "long" echo. Hard to find a sweet spot that suits "long" and "short" delay equally well. I like the price, too. On stage I mostly use the "long" delay and ignore the "short" one.

But a lot of people dislike danelectro mini pedals. They're made of plastic, the poti knobs are in a dangerous size and position, the footswitches are small. You'll have to find your own opinion.

  11. thankyou alex!
