1. Howdy stranger!! I was just going to send you a message! *virtual hug*

  2. It's been a while, huh? I generally try and avoid the general chat these days....never know what you'll end up talking about.
  3. *raises eyebrow* How was Chloe's visit? What's new in life?

  4. the visit was great....too short though. I'm flying to NY a week from tomorrow for her medical stuff....let's see....what else is new? OH YES. I decided to move back to Portland.
  5. SAH-WEET!!!! I'm really happy for you. I don't think LA is good for the soul. Although, if you move before the tour (God only know when THAT will be) we prob. won't meet.

Glad you're going out to hold her hand.

I've had a little drama that I'll tell you about in a PM but other than that, just work. I've been battling a sinus infection so I haven't been to the gym in A WEEK!!! That's a record for me! (at least in the last two years)

Sorry about the sinus infection. That's always a bummer. And I know how it can be when you neglect the gym for a while. I'm really lucky in that I'm not working now so I can work out whenever I want. I swam twice yesterday, but only once today (and I'm still "heavy"). I'm bummed about not meeting up at a show someday, but....you never know what'll happen, right? Maybe someday we'll go to a show, and I'll be called up onstage to play Walk On with the boys, and you'll be pulled to go backstage and admire Larry....

    did I just say that?

I actually giggled when I read that. But actually my dream is to have a sign that says "Screw dancing, Bono, I wanna RUN" and then he'll pull me up right before Streets and let me run around the ellipse with him. Then I can just fondle Larry's bicep as I run past.

    did I just say that?

Is this what you meant when you said "you never know what you'll wind up saying in the GC thread?"

haha, no....this is nothing. I'll just say that i don't want to read about other U2start member's sex lives.

And I did laugh when I read the line about Larry's bicep.

You know, taking that lap with Bono would be incredibly amazing, but I don't think I could keep up with the old fart given my injury. I'm already worried about having to stand for the whole concert down in the GA section. I don't want to be regulated to the "handicapped section" (read: NOSEBLEEDS)
  9. and how on earth did I get over 700 posts???

I'm telling you, just get someone strong to stand behind you. I'd do it but I'm too short!

My cat just puked. GROSS!!! I have the lamest cat EVER!

When are you planning the move? And is there a grad school application on your desk too? (God, I'm such a mom!)
  11. Oh, and about the lap around the ellipse, everytime my workout buddy sees me getting pooped on the treadmill, she says something about beating the 'fat Irishman'! Whatever keeps me goin'

I just gagged when I thought of cat puke. Will you hate me if I tell you that I can't stand cats?

I'm thinking of moving pretty quickly, actually. Once I finish my disability here in the state of CA, not much keeping me here (except if the weather stays nice!). I'm thinking mid to late October? So quick! I haven't officially filled any grad school applications out yet, still trying to figure out where to go. I'm also intimidated by the GRE. The one school that I'd most like to go to doesn't require it, but I'm thinking it's probably a good idea to take it anyway, just in case? I don't know...what do you think?
