  9. So last Saturday the 1st I attended a music festival called Personal Fest 2008.
    Line up:

    MARS VOLTA (too weird for me, I listened for about 15 minutes and started walking around)
    BLOC PARTY (pretty good british punk, loved it!!!)
    KAISER CHIEFS (very very good performance, they played just before REM and left the crowd jumping and excited!! So that was one hell of and achievement!! Great job!!)
    R.E.M. (fecking outstanding performance!! It was my first REM’s concert, and it was really mindblowing, Stipe was at his best!! Singing and flirting with the crowd and other bandmates all night long… there was a really nice connection with the crowd…) there are a number of decent videos and pictures of the concert on youtube and flickr, as asked by the band most of them are tagged as rembuenos. Stipe made a clear statement about hoping Obama to win the presidential election and they also made it clear that no one in the band was in favor of Bush)

    now I'm looking forward to Madonna?? haha!! I know I know, I'm a wuzz for buying a ticket, but I'm taking a very close friend and I hope the Material Girl does the trick haha

    Well...shows of Madonna seem to be great and big...might be fun, you never know!
