Besides watching the downfall of our youthful nation, how was your day? Did I tell you I LOVE MissC's art?

do you!?! I thought you would.....*beams proudly*

I stayed in today for the most part. I went down to swim in the pool, but it was really cloudy, I think they need to clean it. I took it easy as far as working out today because I really pushed myself yesterday. It's weird because I still don't have 100% feeling in my legs. I think they're sore, but I'm not really sure. They feel really heavy and fat.
  2. Mine feel that way after a race. Speaking of... yeah, the race director pretty much told me there's no way I was gonna get in. The limit is due to it being a pool swim and there are only so many lanes / heats. Otherwise they'd be racing alllllllll day. So I'm doing one Nov 1st. The swim's a little shorter and it's in a town an hour away from here but otherwise it's basically the same thing. On the upside, I'm going to watch the race I was supposed to be in and maybe get some pointers on transitions.

  3. And probably a good idea to take it easy after 2 days of hard swims. You always need to let your muscles rest, no matter what shape you're in.

well that's good. see? things workin' out just fine!

I'm listening to the Flight of the Conchords CD....hilarious. Have you heard it?
  5. I haven't hear the whole thing but when it first came out I heard some clips on NPR. Great stuff! I find it kinda hard to get into new music. I sometimes have to force myself to listen to new stuff.
  6. *puts on the new Kings of Leon song*

I promise you that I'm worse. Now that I stay at home all day and don't have a car anymore (did I tell you that I sold mine? oh, you probably saw it on facebook), I just listen to iTunes. No new music for me. I'm just listening to the Flight of the Conchords stuff now.
  8. *turns off new Kings of Leon song* I don't think I like it. But I gotta find something to tide me over 'til 2009!
  9. I love the 'people who bought this also bought this' feature on itunes. I can play that game for hours!

No kidding. I'd recommend something, but it would probably be something along the lines of The Presidents of the United States of America or Everclear......or someone else who hasn't put out a new song in years.

  11. is it actually pretty good?
  12. LOL! I love both of those bands and still listen to them regularly. I've got some stuff that came out four or five years ago and I think I'm really cool for listening to that!!! *old fart alert* (not nearly as catchy as nerd alert)
