1. I'm hoping to be over in Europe next summer, so....that's great news for me!
  2. Do I hear 3-5 nights in Ottawa, Canada? Haha. I doubt it. But I'd like to see them more than once on this tour, or at least once...I've still never seen them live!

I told my dad that if he doesn't take me to at least one show on the next tour I won't talk to him anymore

  4. Come to Dublin and wel have a pint. .
  5. from the Daily Mirror, Ireland :

'U2 TO ROCK CROKE NEXT YEAR'

'U2 have secretly booked three huge Croke Park summer gigs for next year. The Dublin rockers will salute their comeback after four years with the huge comeback shows to 80,000 people each night.

The band have been in contact with the bosses of the GAA headquarters (stadium owners) to provisionally book their dates.

Last night a source close to the band revealed 'they want to rock Croker for 3 nights'

They will have no problem selling out all three nights and may even play four or five evenings if they can get extra permission for the additional nights.

The stars will kick off their world tour early next year in America and hit the road on an 18 month treck. The tour will accompany the release of the new album - released 3 months later than expected in Januray.

  6. they got the Vertigo gigs spot on. Historically they are fairly reliable in U2 terms
  7. croke park next summer would totally fit into my (and macstripey's) hopes so I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's true.

double album or not - I don't care actually, as long as it's good.
I know there are quite some crap double albums out there, but maybe u2 is the band to actually release a decent one.
  8. the album said it is to be released in january.....YES!

  9. What about Point Depot? That would be the icing on the cake!
