1. Haha! Nice one Jeremy!

BTW Wasn't it hard for you to get back to the sea, where the accident happened?

great to see you're completely recovered, Jeremy
  3. Most of you know that just over a year ago, I was injured in a freak spinal cord injury and lost all feeling and movement from my waist down. As you can tell by the videos posted in this topic, I've had a miraculous year of healing and recovery. I celebrated this week in two ways. First up, I got my first tattoo on Tuesday, the exact one year anniversary of my injury. While I was in the hospital, I listened to a lot of music, but listened to "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley several times a day, usually in the morning before my therapies, and at the end of the day after everyone went home. The chorus really spoke to me: "Don't worry, about a thing. Cause every little thing is gonna be alright."

    So, here's my tattoo:

Second, I completed a 5k hike through a local vineyard today with some very close friends cheering me on. I walked most of the way, but did manage to jog across the finish line. Quite an amazing feat when you think that I couldn't even wiggle my toes a year ago. Enjoy!

  4. wow, thatz really inspiring how you cope(d) with the situation. And the tatoo is a great idea!!!
