  1. So Rattle and Hum, Slane, Boston, Chicago, Milan, ZooTV Sydney, Popmart, Red Rocks, etc...

    For me (although I have not seen Popmart or Red Rocks) it has to be Slane. The setlist might not be the best, but all the perfomances were nailed perfectly and it has that very homely feel. Terrific DVD. Incredible perofmances of Until the End of the World, One and the AIWIY --> Streets segue is one of the greatest moments in U2's performing career I reckon.

  5. If Red Rocks and Mexico were released as DVD I'd name them, but since they aren't (yet) I'll go with Sydney.
  6. Well i've already said once here that i think Slane's the best one because of all the emotions
    BUT i watch ZooTV so much more, just because EVERYTHING is so great there : Bono's voice, Edge's guitar, the little shows and talkings of MacPhisto or the Fly...

    So euhm i'll pick

    2) Slane Castle
    3) Vertigo Chicago

  9. I just watched the Chicago DVD last time for like the 200th time, and I hate the crowd. Can any members here who were at that show tell me why the crowd were so terrible?
    As for the bands performance, it was pretty good, terrific versions of The Electric Co and The Fly.

    Zoo TV From Sydney is great. Great crowd, great audience, great setlist. The only complaintI have there is that Love is Blindness, although a great great song, doesnt work as a finale.

    Rattle and Hum is very good also, the highlight for me being the passionate performance of 'Sunday Bloody Sunday', by a clearly angry Bono.

    But for me, Slane Castle rules all. This DVD has the emotion of the lads coming home. Out of Control when Bono introduces the song as thier first single is a great moment. Then introducing each band member is fantastic. There are too many moments to mention, All I Want Is You leading into Streets is magic and plus the emotion of Kite following Bob Hewsons death, this DVD is the one Id grab running out of my burning house.

    I've heard many fans from that show say it was really noisy. Noisy is one thing but jumping about and reacting to the music is another. Anyone else hate those knobs who you can hear having a conversation about something random when the band are playing? I have many bootlegs (9/10 american) that are like that
