1. Is Bono for Obama or McCain?

  2. That's my point...he's probably more Obamaish, the ZooTV era Bono would probably refuse to meet her...the new Bono won't, because for his Africa activities, he needs the support of the next president, whoever that is, Obama or McCain...so, he needs to be polite to both sides.

i kind of cringed when I heard he was meeting her, but not surprised. I can't imagine Bono actually buys into Palin. I would love to hear Edge's critique of her. I'm seriously frightened that if they get elected, she will more than likely at some point before the term is up, be president
  5. Policy watch - Anyone seen anything that even resembles a policy or an election commitment during this campaign yet? Anyone?

Looks like he read your mind:

Bono and ONE have been in touch with the campaigns of Senator Obama and Senator McCain as part of an ongoing conversation about the importance of continued American leadership in the fight against AIDS and extreme poverty. Coming out of those discussions, a meeting is planned between Bono and Senator McCain this week since both are in NYC. At the campaign’s request, the meeting will also include Governor Palin and members of McCain’s foreign policy staff.

ONE is also in discussions with the Obama campaign about a possible meeting between Bono and Senator Obama early next month. Bono has met previously with both Senator Obama and Senator McCain as part of his work as an activist. Both candidates have gone "On the Record" with ONE, outlining what they would do to fight extreme poverty and preventable disease via ONE’s website at www.one.org.
  7. VOTE MCCAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've gotten into probally upwards of ten polictical arguements this week so far. I have been called everything from a racist, to a reatard, to a asshole. You know what? I dont care. I'll vote for whoever the hell I want to.( I'm not pissed at you guys. I'm just venting)
  8. first debate is friday...this is the first of 3 debates. by then we could know who's who, maybe. i say maybe because well, maybe they'll say one thing now, then something later. it pisses me off that both candidates are doing this. i say this ticket should be on the ballot come november:

    Clinton-Romney '08

Although that would never happen, just imagine if these two actually ran together. Call me crazy, but it beats both Obama and McCain.
  9. they should have a new ride in disney.....the stock market super duper roller coaster.

    ad for the "wild ride"

you might almost hit the ground while going down at breakneck speed, but the scaling risers (aka congress) are willing to raise/bail you up from when all looks lost and away from crashing into the ground.

but the first test run entitled "lehman bros. express" crashed into the pavement, thus suspending the project. another problem was that the scaling risers committee can't agree on how to fix this problem.

    "Crazy"!
(Well, you said to call you crazy!)

I agree that Hillary could do a great job. But Obama can do equally great. Romney? Not so much.

McCain has a long history of deregulation. He was one of the Keating 5. He's stated numberous times that he's for deregulation.

All things considered, I can't understand how anyone would vote for McCain when he's had a history of financial wreckage.

If he's elected, Bono and the One Campaign might have to start raising money for us, here in the U.S.

Wow that last part about the one campaign would be funny. If it weren't true. I don't know why the Keating 5 isn't getting more play. McCain has a track record on these issues, and it aint flattering. How he is getting away acting as some kind of populist is beyond me.
  12. I think that John McCain can be summed up by the words of the 4 year old child that they had on The Stephanie Miller Show on KTALK radio yesterday.

What did the 4 year old say?

"John McCain is a Poopie Head"

Truer words have never been spoken.

    McSame / Failin' 08 - Just say no - (F@#k NO!)
