    What cover changes would you recommend? I don't think that they will change the cover as it was not so universally reviled as was the blurry CD version of The Joshua Tree.

    that said, I quite like that used different photos or versions of the cover for the different formats of The Unforgettalbe Fire and for The Joshua Tree .

    Although, the cassette versions were probably more to accomodate the shape of the cassette case, being that it's vertical and with less width... making more since for the LP gatefold versions of the LP sleeve to have the panoramic view that cover has.

    I hope that they do release The Unforgettable Fire next. A 2 CD/1DVD format would ROCK. Hopefully by October of next year? It would make it a 25th Anniversary Edition.
  2. do you think they will do a special remaster of R&H the movie? perhaps include it with the album?

    maybe the title for this should be changed to cover all the remasters?

  6. Bought my UABRS CD/DVD today for $25 at Best Buy. Can't wait to watch it!

  9. in a word, it's awesome. I love the extended intro with the band. I hadn't heard Bono speaking about the concert before Surrender, it's not on my copy of the bootleg, normal? Obviously the biggest complaint is the mad editing of Two Hearts and Electric Co.. Two Hearts is done pretty well but they totally totally, dare I say, butchered, The Electric Co., even though it still rocks (weird they did the same on the cd, as someone on @U2 said; don't they have enough money to get rights for those parts? lol) overall though, I love it, the design is worth pouring over and over again, Anthony De Curtis, as always, writes excellent liner notes (probably my favorite music journalist).

    They are so on fire at this show, as we are all finally getting to see rather than just hear. I love seeing Adam sing (and rock out) during Twilight. So full of passion, full of life, full of shaky confidence of their future. Love it. Can't wait til January

    By the way, a bit offtopic, but valid anyway: was Harry's Game actually played over the PA at the beggining and/or ast the end of the concerts (the whole War our I mean)?? So, did thepeople on Red Rocks hear Harry's Game before U2 jumped onto the stage, or the tracks was added after, on the VHS editing?

    Eenough money for the snippets? Depends. If I remember right from my media law class I took in college (university for those no tin the US), the owner of the copyright can pretty much charge whatever they want - they could very easily make it a better financial decision to edit the songs rather than pay a lot of money for 4 or 5 lines from a song....especially if they have to pay per copy of DVD/CD sold or made rather than playing a flat one time fee for the use of the lyrics....
  12. Yes I'm sure it can get very costly for U2. Especially if the people they would have to pay realized the fact that its U2 and they have a lot of money. Imagine how much they would ask? Probably too much.
