1. It would be quite a change from them releasing things we die-hards already have....although the RR DVD was a treat....now, i just have to go buy it!

loads of hiss on the album I find

  3. 'hiss' as in background noise? cos that could have been a side effect from recording in a castle

  4. not sure but I get it a lot during Bad

  5. tried hi-fi and headphones. The CD had been played to death before it came into my ownership so I really should buy it again (or wait for the remaster)

  6. Don't ask such questions to Gerard lol, it's common knowledge

Anyway, it might have some hiss, but remaster it properly then. October and War weren't that well remastered.

  7. I see. And Casper, thanks for the tip

I only usually listen to it on my Sony Stereo (not hifi) or just my ipod. So it definitely wouldn't be as noticeable for me. I just hate I discover things like that, because once you hear something like that you didn't hear before, you always hear it whenever you listen to that song again. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad.

But yea Gerard, maybe you should try going out and buying another UF cd. They're only like 15 bucks now days. Maybe less.

  8. I like the CD I have because it has MLK misprinted on the CD. It says 'MILK' which is kinda cool. I'll leave it a month or 2 to see if theres any further talk of a remaster then i'll go buy it again.

i wouldn't expect news of that remaster for at least a year, I would think they wanna keep the focus on the new album for the foreseeable future at least. but who knows
  10. Saw UBRS again last night. I completely understand now why it has gone into rock folklore, having not seen the VHS. Simply magical show. I've never seen Adam that head boppin' energetic before. He's so calm and reserved now! What a gig! If anyone was actually there, I'd love to hear of your experience or at least your recollection of it!
