Found this on Dime. I think it originally came from a cd of Rattle and Hum outtakes. Description from the torrent describes what it's all about better than I could.

c. Heartland
d. Van Diemen's Land
Yes, it's 1 track, yes it was seeded that way. Why? Because the songs are very
very fragmented and done many many times. The song could be 30 seconds, then 30
seconds of dialogue, then 2 minutes of another song that leads into the first
song, 3 minutes of dialogue......you get the idea. I would never even think of
putting anything up this way, but truly this is so disorganized and stream of
consciousness that 1 track is the only way to go. To say where one song ends
and another starts is impossible, and at times the dialogue and the 'song' are
inseparable.
This is Edge, Bono, and Jimmy Iovine sitting around outside a home on Long Island
within spitting distance of the ocean throwing around ideas for songs, some of
which made it to Rattle and Hum. The 'titles' came from the TTD torrent info,
but to my ears, there might be another 2 fragments being discussed and played
here. It's very interesting peek into their songwriting process, and it also
sounds great. '
This originated from the "Rattle & Hum" film. It appears on video among the raw footage circulating among fans. Joanou shot it on 8 or 16 mm, I think.
Some of this (possibly all) is available on the "2 Hearts and Other Strange Things" silver CD that came out in the early 1990s, but it was circulating on tape as early as 1989.
Iovine's comments and words of "advice" are pretty useless, if you ask me. The conversation seems awkward, like Bono and The Edge are grasping for some kind of connection with Iovine, but they seem like such different people.
Sorry, I had a hard drive failure sometime after I uploaded it and that was one of the folders I hadn't backed up. By the time I went to download it megaupload had deleted it.
