    i think the purpose of the animals has something to do with human nature. 'are we human or are we denser' is the definitive line. whatever that means must be the purpose of the video

  11. It's odd with this lot, because Hot Fuss was barely off my minidisc player when it was first released. It got me through a lot of stuff and grief when I was travelling in India, but I've only listened to the second album a couple of times. I should perhaps give it another go, but Hot Fuss was so immediate, so brilliant - remember when you first hear Mr Brightside? Utterly marvellous... - that it hooked me straight off. Topping the first album was always going to be a tall order, and I don't think they managed it. Still, the Kings Of Leon's second album wasn't all that, but the third was brilliant and the new one is even better. I've really gone on a bit here, and I don't think I've actually said ANYTHING at all. Ah, well, never mind. Oh, wait, that's a good name for an album...
