Just to take the current list down a notch, 15 of us crammed into one room to watch Finding Nemo the other day in our halls - you've never seen so many teenagers get emotional over an animation (unless it had been the Lion King...) lol...

    did you like it?
  2. saw no way home a few days ago - actually, quite a nice idea/plot to start with and even though there was a certain level of tension throughout the entire movie, the end was quite overdramatic and the last few scenes kind of unnecessary. hadn't it been for tim roth (and his brilliant acting), who brought a lot of charisma along, the movie might have been less than average.
  3. Bugger all wrong with Pixar - Toy Story 3 is due in the next couple of years and I'm looking forward to that. Toy Story 2, masterpiece, genre/format be damned...
  4. Fool's Gold (with my wife...)

    Avoid.

  5. Read the script years ago and thought it could be good....but seeing the trailer was enough for me. No thank you.
  6. Good Bye Lenin! and My Best Friend's Wedding
  7. Must be The Last Train, also known as Der Letzte Zug, movie with a duration of 2 hours of which 90% plays within a train, the train with the last Jews from Berlin to Auswitz during World War II. Very impressing, took me a few days to really recover from it.

I'm a fan of World War II movies, after seeing a lot of them I still can't believe anything like that ever happened. That's what's attracting me to these movies I guess.

  8. Saw that one too, not that good, but some nice beach babes made up for that Plus the inclusion of Donald Sutherland, which always is a good thing. Though he shouldn't appear in this kind of movies.

  9. I've got to watch Goodbye, Lenin soon for Uni. Any good? And My Best Friend's Wedding has that wonderful bit with the helium harmony and the restaurant scene - can't hate a film with those two scenes in it...
