    Yeah I'd pay a ticket to this gig! Would be a great Farewell Tour setlist.



  5. There's quite a few songs there others might miss; and I've intentionally left out for reasons of preference; but no doubt U2 and the fans themselves would see them as important to include. Several from The Joshua Tree, one or two from Achtung Baby, I really missed some good ones from Pop and Zooropa, and a lot from the early days (Boy - Unforgettable Fire).

    However, the new tour is going to be interesting to see what compliments Gloria, Electric Co, An Cat Dubh, I Will Follow from the older tours, or even takes their place.... maybe something not played for a long time, for example Electric Co and some other Boy / October tracks hadn't been played for almost 17-20 years on the last tour. Maybe the remastered discs will prompt the band to play some older tunes, but I'm not holding out for any return to Pop any time soon.

    However, the release of 18 Singles before the Brisbane '06 show didn't have them playing Sweetest Thing, either. The one song they didn't play on the last shows at all from that compilation. All 17 of the other songs listed - on official versions, not iTunes or whatever - they played.
