    U2 Receives $18 Million Worth in Shares in Live Nation

    U2 have reportedly landed 1.56 million shares from their concert promoters, Live Nation, according to Female First.
    This financial move is said to be worth over $18 million after U2 made a 12-year deal the the concert promoter and handed over merchandising, branding, touring and other rights to Live Nation. Reports suggest that Jay-Z and Madonna have also received shares in the company too.
    Wow, it sounds like U2 has scored financially! Good for them. Fans are eagerly awaiting their next tour!

    it means that Live Nation will do all their touring (if there is any) as well as merchandising. I think the deal would include at least 2 tours.
