think they are from an incomplete pro-shot video
  2. Yep, comes from a satellite link up to the MTV award. I guess the video feed was cut shortly after the award "duet", the audio a little while later...

Then shouldn't there be a lower quality bootleg for the rest of the show, as is the case with 99,99 % of the performances?

  4. Bootlegs don't just automatically exist. Somebody actually has to go to the show and record it then share it. In this case it hasnt been recorded or it has been andjust not shared. Or maybe we just dont have it.
  5. Hello friends, just a word to say one thing: this site is magic, you've got all the gigs of our favorite band, or nearly, in differents sounds quality, and I haven't listen all the boots I've downloaded here, and I will spend hours and hours to do it, I'm a lucky man,
    thank to all the U2start'crew..

  6. No.
As Gerard already pointed out, recordings don't fall from the sky. It needs someone who buys the equipment, sneaks it in, finds a spot, stands still and concentrates on recording and shares it with the rest of the world.
Maybe the show wasn't taped, maybe it wasn't shared, maybe it just isn't on this site, plenty of possibilities...

That's very true. We have to be ambitious, right, but please consider that recording is difficult and even dangerous, and be thankful for what you've got...

I never said they automatically exist, did I? I said since there are bootlegs available here for 99,9 % of the shows it SHOULD exist, and since it doesn't seem to, I wonder why this particular show lacks one.

you said it SHOULD exist. Why? It doesn't matter if every other show exists and this one doesn't. Like already explained somebody records it of their own accord and shares it very generously. He doesn't do it because a recording 'SHOULD' exist.

In this case we just don't know. We have already listed the reasond why it isn't here

It should exist considering how practically every single gig has a bootleg available - I.E by probability.

  11. Whether it should or shouldnt doesnt matter though. We dont have it sadly so. . .
