    Agreed
Although I think I prefer the Temble Bar Remix

The Paris version Harry drones on about has a cool solo though.
  2. Steve and Dan, you cheeky bastards lol...a) carlibengarli opened this, not me, so I think it's kinda unfair to label this mine when it isn't (although please feel free to rename a topic that I did open if that would please you all), b) if anything, it should be Harry AND AUSSIE's topic, as Aussie alluded to above and c) cheeky sods!

    carlibengarli's got enough topics open.....

  5. Hahaha! Talking about hijacking another member's topic! Hahaha!

    You're a hero Dan!
  6. The first bootleg song I ever listened was Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses from Lakeland 1992-02-29... It is still my favorite one

    We still be friends??
  7. I dont think they worked the song out properly live. The ZooTV versions just lack a certain something. The electric Vertigo versions sounded a lot more sorted to me. I also dislike how Edge sane the chorus on the Zoo versions

I personally like Edge's harmony (although, e.g. Stockholm, I can't help but find it slightly funny whenever he gets the lyrics wrong ), and what I prefer in the main about ZooTV versions is Edge's guitar, it just sets the tone for me (not to mention that I loved the segue from UTEOTW). I like the Vertigo versions too (and the solo slot was awesome) but I disliked the way Edge switched tones after the first verse, to go for the more jangly thing - I prefer the distorted tone he used, but again, that's my take on it.

Got to say, I do like the acoustic setup aswell from some Vertigo shows, where Adam and Larry come in after the first verse etc.

    I know I'm a cheeky bastard

he's opened how many topics already?

    I second that

I know I'm a sod I'm an Odds and Sods sort of kid
  10. Though I like the early ZooTV performances ie Stockholm, Paris. I like the album version best as it has the best definition. I disagree with the band, that the temple bar remixes are better than the album version.

I prefer the cool guitar effects on the album cut, makes the song sound like a country/ alternative rock hybrid, which is quite unique and works very well. It's nore interesting than the acoustic guitars on the temple bar remixes.

But yes Harry, the end of Paris is cool.
