1. It'd have to be either The Smiths or Underworld - quite funny given Morrissey's utter loathing for electronic music, but we'll stick with Manchester's finest...

    1. How Soon Is Now?
    2. Cemetry Gates
    3. Reel Around The Fountain
    4. Suffer Little Children

    6. Ask
    7. Vicar In A Tutu
    8. The Queen Is Dead (Take Me Back To Dear Old Blighty)
    9. London
    10. Meat Is Murder

    That was difficult...

I'll keep the radiohead thing going, because they are absolutely unbelievable.

    How To Disappear Completely
    National Anthem
    Let Down
    Exit Music (For A Film)
    House of Cards
    Gagging Order
    True Love Waits
    There There
    Street Spirit (Fade Out)
    Everything In Its Right Place

Notable Mention: Backdrifts (Honeymoon is Over). This song is so underrated. It's brilliant. I hated it when I first heard it. Now I am in love with it.

I could add to that, but I won't because it's supposed to be a top ten list.. haha. But this excellent. It's so hard to pick ten songs, because I think Radiohead is one of very very few bands that make records that have amazing songs from start to finish, staying true to the idea of an album. All I need is brilliant.. good call. And I fell in love with the Bends all over again when I heard Planet Telex live on their last tour. It was absolutely stunning. Myxomatosis is a scary song, but incredible. NATIONAL ANTHEM!... need I say more. Bones. Yes! I love that song. I'm not really a fan of Pablo Honey, though. Maybe you can defend it and convince me that it can keep up with the rest of the radiohead catalogue.

Indeed, Myxomatosis frightened me the first time I heard it. haha. I wasn't really a fan of Pablo Honey either, other than Creep, Ripcord, and You. But lately I've been listening to it a lot. There's something absolutely brilliant about Pablo and The Bends. I can't put my finger on it, but there's just something I like about the sound. It's such a raw sound. Granted, I love the experimental/Electronic phase, but for whatever reason, those first two albums have something that grabs me. I think Pablo Honey just has so much energy. It actually reminds me a lot of Boy. Think about it, both albums were debut albums, both had moderate success, and both were very energetic.

Interesting... I'll have to give it another listen. I think I brush it off because it may be a good record, but when you compare it to everything else they've done, it just doesn't come close.
