  1. Am I the only one optimistic about this group? It seems because they said something relating to U2 that everyone hates them now. While what Mr. Flowers said was stupid, people say stupid things. I do it too. It seems the band has matured since Hot Fuss as well.

    I like them! Just not this song... Maybe the album is really good...just the first single isn't very promising IMO...

    If you read the topic, you'll see that a bunch of people like these guys.
    Also, I don't think that what he said was stupid. Ambitious, that's all.

    Saying a band that has a huge fanbase that's in the process of making an album that could change their direction for the next few years should quit and go away is just stupid. A tad ambitious, however utterly rediculous.

    From another perspective, saying that an aging band with an aging fanbase that's in the process of making the 3rd average album in a row and scrape on their own monument should quit and go seems reasonable, though.
    But: he never said they should retire. He just said that he thinks that their time at the top is over.

    Radio 1 presents The Killers live at Royal Albert Hall

    On Monday 3 November, BBC Radio 1 presents The Killers live from the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, London.

    The whole gig will be broadcast live on Radio 1 on Zane Lowe's show (7.00-10.00pm) and will include tracks from the new album.

    Playing at one of London's iconic music venues, the Las Vegas rock favourites will be showcasing tracks from their album, Day And Age, which will not be released until 24 November, alongside their biggest hits.

    Zane announced the exclusive gig on his show last night where he also had the world's first play of the band's new single, Human.

    The whole gig will also be available to listen again for seven days at bbc.co.uk/radio1.

  11. It's pretty dam good isn't it? I don't have tickets for the tour next year but I'm going to have a good go at getting them. I think that Brandon just likes to tease U2. Just listen to the music to see how much respect there really is.
