1. aside from good old U2, I also dig (in a rough order to begin with, not so much after that)

Bon Jovi, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns N' Roses (and all related bands), R.E.M., The Goo Goo Dolls, Aerosmith, Duran Duran, Audioslave, The Smiths, Green Day, Muse, Megadeth, Radiohead, Iron Maiden, Jane's Addiction, Rush, The Police, Stone Temple Pilots, T. Rex, Blink 182, The White Stripes, Kings Of Leon, The Sex Pistols, The Ramones, Eminem, Will Smith, Coldplay, Snoop Dogg, Richie Blackmore's Rainbow, Journey, Pearl Jam, The Misfits, Led Zeppelin, Keane, The Clash, Angels & Airwaves etc.

I think I'd better stop before the list gets obnoxiously large...

R.E.M. (fecking outstanding performance!! It was my first REM’s concert, and it was really mindblowing, Stipe was at his best!! Singing and flirting with the crowd and other bandmates all night long… there was a really nice connection with the crowd…) there are a number of decent videos and pictures of the concert on youtube and flickr, as asked by the band most of them are tagged as rembuenos. Stipe made a clear statement about hoping Obama to win the presidential election and they also made it clear that no one in the band was in favor of Bush)

    Well, here’s REM's setlist:
Living Well Is The Best Revenge
    I Took Your Name
    What’s The Frequency Kenneth?
    Drive
    Driver 8
    Man Sized Wreath
    Ignoreland
    Fall On Me
    Electrolite
    Imitation of Life
    Hollow Man
    Everybody Hurts
She Just Wants To Be Me
    The One I Love
    Night Swimming
    Let Me In
    Horse To Water
    Bad Day
    Orange Crush
It’s The End of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)
    Supernatural Superserious
    Losing My Religion
    Great Beyond
    Man on the Moon
Damn damn damn lucky bastard you are, Johnny!! I'd LOVE to attend a REM concert and hear all those great songs... What an ending, with Losing, Beyond and Man OTM... OMG OMG thanks a lot for sharing, and congrats for being there

I'm sure I've left about a billion other artists out but, oh well.
