Don't mind us doing what you can't.

By the way, Bono's Bullet snippet was made BEFORE 9/11.

    Yes' but it's still actual.

Six hundred and seventy six thousand

With a bullet in the next 20 years
    20 years, these bitter tears

    More bodybags than Vietnam

Bono's refering to right by witch almost everyone can carry a gun, and now Obama promised to end with that.

Two more things about "making war on itself".

    1. There is not one evidence that would relate al'Quaida to 9/11. If you watch to some documentaries (Zeitgeist for example) you'll see that bombs exploded all over the twin towers BEFORE planes hit them. Even Twins were constructed in a way so that airoplane crash could not knock them down.
Then, there was not one piece of plane found by Pentagon. Not one piece. And the hole made by crash looked more like Cesna crashed, not plane of that size.

    2. USA went to war to Iraq because Saddam's role in 9/11. Not one evidence found to support that. But they hung him anyway. Years back USA supported him with money and weapons.
2.1. USA went to Iraq because some documents from 90-ies were saying that there MIGHT be nuclear weapons on some locations. No evidence found to support them.

    That's it.

The USA went to war for oil, simple as it is. Iraq has become more dangerous than it was under Saddam's control. But I don't believe all these conspiracy theories about 9/11. You don't murder hundreds of citizens to start a war.
  3. Yes, but it's videotaped. And most of the people who were in or close to Towers said that they heard, felt and/or saw explosions.

They needed reason to go to Iraq.
  4. It's gotten to the point that I find the conspiracy theories behind 9/11 to be truly offensive. You suggest that our own government murdered 3,000 just so they could go to war for oil. That is wholly ridiculous and insensitive.

I am sure you've seen some mindless documentary telling you about the series of explosions that knocked the towers down and that airplane fuel can't burn hot enough to melt the framework. Documentaries like this are made by some idiot who spends too much time on his computer. National Geographic made their own documentary--I can guarantee you with a lot more funding and resources--and found that jet fuel does indeed burn hot enough to melt the steel framework the towers were made of.

I'll remind you that we always love conspiracy theories, and I'll ask a simple question: if our government really did stage the events of 9/11, don't you think they would have covered it up pretty welll? George Bush didn't go on TV and claim responsibility for the acts. Osama bin Laden did.

Saddam Hussein was a Hitler of the modern era--a ruthless oppressive dictator who used violence to accomplish whatever he wanted. The world is a better place without him. Let's ask the 50 million Iraqis now living in a free and decent society how they feel about it.

  5. If Bush had been behind it, you really think he would have taken the credit for it!?

Some of whom would probably quite like to be able to run their country for themselves...

However, on that note, let's keep this fairly civil guys - we know how easy it is for this forum (especially) to get out of hand, so let's try and nip it in the bud before one of the crew ends up temporarily closing it (again...).

  6. Not true. Jay Nordlinger, an American journalist, went to Iraq early in October.

He says when Iraqis were asked do they want the coalition forces to pull out, they say yes and no: they want control of their country, but they also know that terrorist groups will swarm the city if the armed forces pull out.

Also of note: the attacks that were once commonplace are now almost unheard of. There are soldiers stationed in Baghdad now that haven't seen a moment of combat. This is thanks to the U.S. Surge.

I highly agree theere. I find them not only stupid, but offensive and painful for the families of the deads and injurieds there. Even though I don't support AT ALL any war (I've gone to 5 or more demonstrations against Iraq War, etc), I don't think a democratic government (ANY democratic government, even George Bush's one) could organise any bombings or attents against their own people. That's impossible, and anyone who supports that is a knob (politcally talking).

  8. yep, and those were good quality weapons, they really hurt us in the 8-year war

    Well said.
  10. How that we got to this current topic? lol

Anyway, you guys really think Bush would kill loads of Americans to start a war? He's stupid, but not THAT stupid. And it would be very dictator-ish, while he tried to fight all dictators.
  11. 9-11 conspiracy theorists always forget the one key componant. The Bush administration has shown zero competancy on the easy stuff. Bill Maher used to have protesters interupt his shows because he was not a believer, and his response was, "You know how I know Bush was not behind 9-11? Because it worked."
