that 'excuse me' was for vanquish as he said that a government killing 3000 citizens is something that would never happen in the US, but he said these things happen if Africa, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe. And if we look at Europe just as Western and Eastern, I live in the Eastern part. And hell, no, we're not animals, no government would kill 3000 citizens just to start some war etc. Dunno if he has noticed but Stalin died a couple of years ago![]()

I reply only when I see some refference to me or I think I have some good opinion to the topic, 'casue if I wrote all my opinions, those posts would really be meaningless
if I somewhere feel an insult to my person, even if it's not directly intended, I don't stay quiet
and if you find me annoying you can only deal with it, as I think you've noticed that I'm stubborn and don't change. never. ever. dot.

I know I'll sound anti-American again, but if the Americans' dream is really to have a gun, I find something wrong with those people![]()
Did everyone forget the Balkan War? Is should also add South & Central America to that list. And I didn't suggest you are animals, its just that some of the governments in these countries get away with atrocities, like 9/11 which you claim ignorantly that the Americans perpetrated, so they could spend billions and lose thousands more lives fighting halfway across the world, in a rocky desert.
While I agree that America has its fair share of problems, its not like Slovakia has none. Ever heard of tall poppy syndrome? You don't live in the country, so don't tell harass them on what to do? Are they pointing out Slovakia's shortfalls? (and attempting to rewrite its history as well)
But I do agree that America should be gun-free (although I would like a gun myself) I think too many people who carry guns shouldn't be, as all you need is someone with anger management issues, to pull out a gun and shoot a guy over some petty argument.
And the fact that if your house/store gets robbed is made much worse by the fact that the burglars can get away with weapons rather than your stuff is a problem, as then they can be more agressive and get away with more crimes etc.
The problem with control is that its ineffective, as various journalists have shown how easy it is to obtain a gun in seedier areas, the large amounts of guns among the public in the US are a problem in itself, regardless of who owns them or how their regulated.
And wtshnn you're not old, if you're younger than me.
And the death penalty is an antiquated idea- slots in right next to being burning witches. What does it achieve - besides more killing? does it bring back the victim? what about all the innocent people on death row?
If you want to defend yourself, take up martial arts, its way too easy to simply pull a trigger and end someones life epecially if your drunk/enraged/mistaken at the time..
This whole topic reminds me of The Wanderer, and the 'Bible and a Gun' America that Bono found so hard to reconcile with. And which God put up the death penalty, does he require blood sacrifices at dawn as well?
