1. I'm keeping an eye on the website feeds too, so I can see if anything new comes up to add.

Regarding the comments about the 4CD boxset, I recently paid $35 for a 2CD set with 30 songs. The first disc had already-released songs, whereas the second had 15 new ones. That was from 1995, so I wouldn't mind paying the price for that kind of set in 2009. You might find some real treasures and great songs in it. If they boast their work is so good from these sessions, then show us exactly what you've been doing all this time, from the Rubin sessions to the Eno / Lanois sessions, plus a DVD with a 20-minute documentary in the style of ''U2 and 3 Songs''.

Alternatively, they could package a set with four CDs, but one has B-sides from 1980 - 2004 and the other two CDs are full of demos and outtakes of the sessions - it doesn't matter what sessions, but considering this is U2's 15th studio album, you can fit approximately 12-18 songs depending on length on one disc. That would give you maybe 30 songs on average, so two or three songs per session. It would sell quite well.
  2. We'll see...Edge is sounding less commercial than Bono. He's more serious.

  3. now that is awesome!!!! finally something.....something about this new albums look.

Leather + a cooler (colder sort of) look. Maybe thats the blue behind him though. I think Zoo TV's coolness is back? Maybe, I would love that.

  4. he definitely looks cool! hopefully we hear more about this....and I would hope that the rest of the band was there (?)
  5. He looks pretty damned cool in the video, even if it's just a green screen.

This could even be for the new cover. Remember how it was said the cover would be something amazing and different - maybe the green screen has something to do with it.
  6. This looks great. Give me the new single NOW!

Well, Edge, Bono and Adam wore leather jackets on the Dismantle cover, didn't they? That looks rings a bell to me (don't misunderstand me, I love it!).
