    Kite is probably one of my favorite U2 songs. It's just so beautifully simple. That synth riff at the beginning and through the verse under Edge's slide guitar. It is so simple, but so amazing. And then of course there is such rich meaning behind what Bono is singing. The writing is amazing. I still get chills when I hear "I'm a man / I'm not a child." The Slane version is brilliant.


    I always liked Kite (and whole ATYCLB), but Kite became KITE on Vertigo in those epic 8 minutes long performances.

    I still can't decide if I prefer the Elevation or Vertigo version.
  6. Songs that I loved and died on me...well, is HTDAAB allowed? I still love SYCMIOYO, OOTS and COBL but that's it. The b-sides that didn't make the album are better than the ones who are on it now.
  7. I still can't get past that sound effect in the beginning of ABOY. It always reminds me of Fred Flintsone running. My song is The Hand That Built America. Every time I listen to it I tell myself to give it another chance, and every time it bores me.


  8. I'm sorry, but the live version is the only way to listen to that song. It's so powerful that you wonder why they didn't play it sooner.
  9. Ultraviolet! I know...... dont yell at me! im barely understanding it now and the stockholm version has been played 9 times in 2 days lol I GET IT NOW. its that awesome rhyth. but i still cant imagine it getting played live again.
  10. Please, as many already know. I've given it a good hearing. Album, Popmart live, Elevation live. It's still a stinker. I've tried hard though.

    Another one is Love is Blindness. Stops Achtung being brilliant from front to back.

    No NO NO!!!!!! Love is blindness is a gem on that album and UV, Acrobat and LIB make achtung the best ending to any album.....i think anyway ....also edges live solo is awesome (eg Sydney DVD)

    The complete JT/R&H-era. Except for a few good songs (Streets, BTBS, WOWY and RTSS) it's horrible. I really wanna like it, but I just can't...
    BTW The biggest mistake they've ever made was ISHFWILF on R&H. A big shame.

    And SIAMYCGOO. It's pretty cool live, but I just can't get through the album version.

    SYCMIOYO. The ending is beautiful, but, even tough I really want to, it doesn't get me.

    Love Is Blindness. The solo is great....but the rest of the song

    IYWTVD (Velvet dress) It still sounds like one very very long snippet to me...
