  1. my opening speech for the MEP

    Honoured Chair, Fellow Delegates

    In these times we live in the unity of the European Union. We are one, but definitely not the same. Every member country of the Union has its own culture and traditions by which the other members can be enriched. While we all should try to work together to make this world a better place for us and our offspring to live in, we are still torn apart by one of the silliest reasons- cultural, religious or ethnic difference. That happens because the intercultural dialogue is missing.
    As a member of the European Union, Ireland wants to take part of this conference in order to try helping to find a solution for current problems such as the barrier between the West and the Arab World, the tense situation in Central Europe, migration and some more.
    The delegates of Ireland express the country’s support of peaceful way of dealing with problems, while we are against racism, extremism, fundamentalism and intolerance.
    We hope that together we will manage to find a solution for the discussed topic.

    quite well, we have a Biology test tomorrow....again we had one just a week ago, the teacher must be crazy lol
