1. IWANA, that'll be my new word from now on..

    What it means?

    I WANT A NEW ALBUM!

  2. I'm stealing it and posting it on my msn nick!!!

As I said before, maybe there could be a summer tour

    Casper said it best too
  4. I listened to the beach clips again, and all I can say is: IWANA!
  5. I know most people will probably disagree with me, but I hope this album is very innovative like POP. I know it wasn't considered their best album, but I always get excited about POP because it was something very original and edgy. I like it when U2 gets out of their comfort zone and tries something very new with new approaches such as playing new instruments or just new sounds. Whatever happend to that new technology they were supposed to use on the last tour? The one were they could direct the sound like a light to only hit certain parts of the arena. It would have been great on the solos of Bullet the Blue Sky, or Miracle Drug.
  6. I'm fairly certain the new album will be innovative, hamman all comments the band gave us so far point to that direction -- I think the album will be everything but ordinary

    IWANA, too

    Agree on all accounts.
I remain "cautiously optimistic," as I think Casper said before, in terms of "innovation," though. The hype may not equal the end result. We'll see when the album comes out.

About that technology--I wonder if they're planning it as part of their upcoming tour?

I agree to a point with your post. Pop was innovative like Achtung, but not as revolutionary because they went off on a tangent with the Zoo era. One can argue and say Pop has a lighter feel than Achtung lyrically. What I'm trying to say is we wish that the transition from HTDAAB to "LP12" will be the same as JT/R&H to AB/Zooropa. In reality, this transition might be as what you have said. We could go from AB/Zooropa to Pop. Not that much difference in a way, but essentially innovative.
  9. maybe this sounds weird, but I'd totally love a song where there's only an acoustic guitar and bono singing (I doubt we'll find that on the next album though).

Actually, all things considered, I'd still be satisfied with that.

I'm with you here, mate. I'd love that, too. But I highly doubt it. But my hopes are high they'll do some acoustic songs during the next tour then......
